Doctor Gerald L. Truesdale M.D. was raised in High Point, North Carolina & is a graduate of William Penn Senior High School. Dr. Truesdale furthered his education by attending Morehouse College located in Atlanta, Georgia. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry before continuing to the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine where he specialized in plastic & reconstructive surgery, hand surgery & burn reconstruction. With 42 years of being in practice Dr. Truesdale is a highly respected professional within the Greensboro/High Point community.
Dr. Truesdale is heavy involved in a variety of community organizations & has spent much time serving of community boards- The Natural Science Center, The Greensboro Music Academy, North Carolina A&T University Foundation, just to name a few. One of the most dear to his heart is his affiliation with the students and teachers at Fairview Elementary School in High Point. This connection runs deep because Dr. Truesdale walked these same halls as a student. He says that he is a proud graduate that who has been volunteeringhis time & money with this school for over five years now. With great intention to continue this relationship with Fairview, Dr. Truesdale is excited for what the future holds.
